elektrostatik tweeter

Hi, I have a grundig K2 console, there is grundig 1070 machine in it. for me the bass sound is very strong.If I change some capacitor values on bass area, the bass sound can be poor bass. second question; this console haven't elektrostatic tweeter but grundig 1070 radio have a elektrostatic tweeter.can I install a new tweeter in my console and it can be better sound. regards

concerning the tweeter: The old electrostatic tweeters are now often defective, and they sound - when ok - not as good as a dynamic one. So, if you want to add a tweeter, better choose a normal dynamic one. Any (modern ore old) 4 ohms-tweeter will do, but you have to put a capacitor of 2,2 to 10µF (try what sounds best) in line with the tweeter. The whole thing has to be connected in parallel to the main speaker.

It didn't get your bass question. Where exatcly is the problem?

Pleas check wether the air isolation ring on the outer edge of the main speaker chassis is still okay. If not, you get bass reproduction problems. You have to uninstall the speaker from the cabinet to check that, but this is important. The ring consisted of a stripe of plastic foam, which is brittle and gone in most cases. Replace it.

Ich wollte eine Frage über den Schaumstoff auf der Vorderseite der Lautsprecher stellen, als ich auf diesen Beitrag stieß.

Ich bemerkte, dass alle Radios, die ich besitze, einen signifikanten Abstand zwischen Lautsprecherrahmen und Gehäuse aufweisen. Manchmal bis zu 5 mm.

Wäre ein haftender Wetterschutzschaum, wie er für Türen oder Fenster verwendet wird, ein guter Ersatz?

Nimm lieber einen Gummistreifen. Es gibt im gutsortierten Bastlerbedarf (z.B. modulor de) eine Gummischnur, die sieht aus wie klassische Bügeleisen-Netzschnur, ist aber eine textilummanteltes "Kabel" aus Gummischnüren. Das nehme ich. Ganz ähnlich wie die bunten Schnüre mit Haken, mit denen man Gegenstände auf dem Fahrrad-Gepäckträger festspannen kann. Die gehen sicher auch gut.
Gibt aber bestimmt auch viele andere Ideen.

Ja, du meinst wie elastische Schnur, Gummiseil oder "Shock cord". Tesamol ist nah dran, wie ich dachte, aber es gibt ein dichteres schwarzes Gummischaum-(EPDM)-Dichtband, das besser sein kann. Die Firma, die du erwähnt hast, verkauft auch dieses Band.

Moin,
wenn es das Band ist, von dem ich vor ungefaehr 20 (+x?) Jahren einige Meter gekauft habe, dann sollte das sehr dauerhaft sein. Weder der Vorrat, noch die verwendeten Stuecke haben bisher Aufloesungserscheinungen gezeigt. Auch der Kleber ist stabil geblieben. Ich kann allerdinge nichts zu Fabrikat und Typ sagen.
