'Beethoven' radio from the Communist era

Beitrag von Nicholas Koleszar »

Dear All!

I would be most grateful for information on the Beethoven radio - I am guessing made in the 1970-s?. Only recently did I hear about it from a friend in Budapest. I have the circuit diagram and can see that it was an above average set with some novel ideas, but have no idea what it looked like, the name of the company that made it, how well it performed, etc.

I would also love to hear what the comparable Grundig and Blaupunkt sets of the same time were like and how their circuitry compared.

Many thanks for any information you can provide.

my email address is mikloskoleszar@aol.com

Regards,
Nicholas

The name of the manufacturer was "Stern-Radio Rochlitz", situated in Saxony. I have one in my basement box, but it is not repaired yet.
